Classy East Aurora Wedding at The Bank

A very East Aurora Wedding Day at the Bank and Knox Farms.

Cameron and Michaela threw a great party at their East Aurora Wedding... I could say soooo much about these two, but I might be repeating myself from my last blog post so I will keep this just about their October 2021 wedding day.

It was a stunning Mid-October Day. I had the pleasure of hiring Austin Trainor as my second shooter who spent the first part of the day with Cameron and the groomsmen, as I was with the bridesmaids. I was so grateful to have Austin along considering the wedding party was one of the largest I've ever worked with... 22 people in total.

East Aurora Wedding

My day started at The Bank in East Aurora, NY with the bridal party. The girls were in cute matching green comfies as they finished getting their hair and make up done. The Bank was a perfect place for the ladies to get ready as the entire upstairs is nicely lit for the photos and make up artist and allowed me to get some early detail photos while I was there. During getting ready, Michaela was able to have a moment of quiet (while I photographed lol) and read a letter from Cameron before their ceremony. The suite was the perfect location for this private moment.

While I photographed at the Bank, Austin had the pleasure of goofing around in a local AirBnB with the grooms party. I knew they were going to have a lot of fun after getting to know Cameron's personality during our engagement session, but I wasn't expecting this much fun!

With a big party, and many of Cameron's coming in from out of town, it was a joy to see everyone together. Cameron's dad was even in his wedding party! "Why?" you ask? Well, Cam told me during our engagement session that the only way he could convince his dad to wear a suit to the wedding was by forcing him to be in the wedding party! I loved it and he was a lot of fun to have around all day!

Michaela and Cameron's ceremony took place at Immaculate Conception RC in East Aurora, NY.

Thankfully the rain came and went all while we were in the church. They had a traditional Catholic Ceremony which was beautiful and special to the couple. After the ceremony, they requested a bubble exit which was FULL of bubbles and a lot of fun. Then the families did formal photos before heading out for group photos.

Following the ceremony and family photos, the bus of 20+ wedding party headed to Knox Farms for some portraits before the party started at The Bank.

At Knox Farms, the sun came out but it was definitely on the breezier / chillier end for the wedding party. Cameron surprise Michaela by having their dogs dressed up and ready for photos at Knox farms, we were able to knock a few couples photos before getting the entire party out.

When working with a big wedding party... it is definitely not easy, especially if you insist on memorizing everyone's name like I do 🤦🏼‍♀️ Thankfully most of this crew cooperated and we came up with some fun group photos before splitting up for separate party photos.

After photos, it was time to head to the venue! One of the best parts of The Bank is the vintage car they park out front and allow for a few more portraits. I absolutely love these shots me and Austin teamed up to get of Cameron and Michaela. We also blocked Main St. and were able to get a big group shot under the bridge. Lastly, we snuck in to the bank vault and took some steamy pictures before the night got underway! These might be my favorites!

The rest of the night was the party I was expecting with these two! There was laughter, tears, so much joy and A LOT of FUN! Cam and Michaela's first dance was better than expected with A LOT of twirls to go around. The Bank was a perfect venue for Cameron and Michaela's day and so much fun to work at.
